Random Thoughts
There is a new style of auto thefts in Toronto and area right now.
Once a vehicle is targeted by thieves, they would place a piece of paper or similar on the vehicle’s rear window. When the driver get out to remove the paper, they would hop into the driver’s seat and drive away.

Money Talks,
Stock's World
I have decided to stop the End of Day recap and the ahead of market forecast. Instead, I’ll combine these two into a single post, such as this one. This point’s primary only represent my personal point of view on the stock market.
Today, the Toronto Stocks have a pretty chilly day. It started off with a gigantic drop on almost every single sector aside from the Research In Motion, Molson-Coor and Cognos software, everyone else was in the red zone.
The leaders in the red zone are from the Financial Sector, with Bank of Montreal, and National Bank of Canada, closing with -0.89 and -0.90 respectively.
Others financial sector stocks have sort of a roller coaster ride too, but didn’t close at such a low point.
The market is hoping for another interest rate cut by the Fed, and I doubt the Canadian Government would sit idle this time. Considering if the U.S. is heading for a recession, then we’ll most likely be dragged along with it.
The first of the 3Qtr reports, wasn’t as high as wall street’s expectations. Yet it still is a 3 percent gain.

Politics babble
If you are a Canadian, residing in the boundaries of Ontario you are introduced to a new style of voting this time. It is called the Mixed Member Proportional system.
The traditional system that we have been using since the days of Sir John A. is now labeled First-Past-The-Post system. This system only allows voters to vote for the Candidate they would like. So sometimes voters might want to vote for the party the candidate belongs to and therefore voted for this candidate or vice versa.
Under the new Mixed member proportional system, voters can choose to vote for the party they like instead of the candidate they like.
I personally believe this is a rather fairer system to the parties, because then the seats will be divided to the members based on the percentage of votes they have instead of the possible lost of votes in any ward due to a specific stronger candidate.
So, for example, if I were to vote for a candidate in party 1, but party 2 warn, then my vote would no longer be counted in the entire election. Yet under the new system, all I have to do is pick the party and my contribution of that particular party would go straight to benefit the party I voted for in the house and won’t be lost simply because the candidate I voted for didn’t make it.
