Driving in the snow…
It snowed again today in Toronto. Luckily, it is not inches this time. In fact it is most likely disappointing to eager school children who were looking forward to a snow fight.
This time, it is one of the more dangerous type of snow. It wouldn’t stay on the ground as simple white fluff. Instead this time the flakes would melt as it touches the warmer ground. It is this process that the danger lies. It is below zero outside, and as the snow melts, it might freezes again and therefor forming black ice. With snow that continues to fall, this piece of ice would be covered up and careless drivers or pedestrians might slip on it.
When you are driving or walking in the winter, unless you are sure it is dry land that you are passing on, be cautious and arrive safely at your destination.
