Money doesn’t grow on trees
Ever since we were small, parents, teachers and other adults have been telling us that money does not grow on trees. Yet for some strange reasons, once we grew up, and was introduced to the internet, a lot of us would forget that famous phase and blindly join circles that is obviously malicious in its very nature.
When you think about it, after the initial boom of the Million Dollar homepage, which made quite some money for the owner, the rest of the Million Dollar franchise doesn’t promote much.
When I was reading about the latest of these, the Million Euro Wiki, my first question is, if I purchased a wiki page, so what? There isn’t a real limitation to wiki pages, considering I knew how the Wiki software work in its code base. Obviously, there is a limitation, MySQL database at its max can use BIGINT Unsigned for the Primary Key in a Database table, so you’ll have about 18446744073709551615 Wiki entries. That doesn’t really do much for me if I have 1 page of that big number of entries. Unless I own the wiki in the first place, then if I sell those pages at 1 dollar each, I’d make 18446744073709551615 dollar, for simply selling them.
So, I am not sure what I can, whether the Million Euro Wiki Scam is telling the truth. What I can say is, I still don’t think money would ever grow on trees.
