Considering how search engine crawlers work, for new or less famous blogs to gain a higher rank, the webmasters would freely review John’s blog for a link back. However, this gain goes both ways. So, while the reviewer gains rank from a link in John’s blog, John’s blog also gain more popularity from the reviewer site or blog.
