Seneca College is divided into six campuses, the events were all held in the Newnham campus residing at the intersection of 404 and Finch.
The view from the residence basically covers the entire campus. It is one gigantic connected building.
The student residence building resembles a condominium, that seems to be pretty modern on the inside as well.
The cafeteria for students, typical Aramark or Chartwells setup.
This statue seems to indicate food on campus, not sure if that is correct or not, but is surely is interesting!
Once again, a bus shelter used as a designated smoking area, what a good use of this design.
One thing I found interesting was that Seneca have a Tipi on site and some of its staff are clearly aboriginals.
It is nice to see other colleges, we can learn from them and they can learn from us. That is how education works and how we as a society should grow and become. Once that mentality becomes the norm and not limited to academia, we may wake up one day and realize we are living in Mr. Gene Roddenberry’s world of Star Trek, where greed and personal material gains are no longer the driving force of our society.
